Examining College Students' Self-Efficacy in the Online Learning Environment System During the COVID-19 Pandemic Implications for Higher Education Institutions

Objective: This study aims to examine the self-efficacy levels of college students in online learning environment during COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose is understand impact on students' motivation, behavior, and achievement learning. Theoretical framework: grounded Bandura's social cognitive theory, which emphasizes importance influencing individuals' actions outcomes. theory suggests that higher lead increased motivation better performance. Method: utilizes a cross-sectional design involves 824 randomly selected from Cagayan State University Gonzaga Campus. Data collection conducted through questionnaire semi-structured interviews gather comprehensive insights into experiences. Results conclusion: finds high among environment, except for informal mingling, interacting with professors, collaborating classmates. findings also show significant correlation between year level levels. Implications research: highlights targeted support enhance communication collaboration. Instructors can implement strategies provide clear guidelines, while institutions offer resources training programs improve skills S outcomes academic success Originality Value: explores COVID-19, providing its achievement.
